Ramsey County and the 2020 Census
The 2020 Census represents an opportunity to have all our residents counted. Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul have established a joint Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census.

Riversedge is an innovative public-private project that creates jobs, revitalizes our capital city’s historic riverfront and expands public access to one of Minnesota’s greatest natural resources – the Mississippi River.

Boys Totem Town Site
Ramsey County is working with the City of Saint Paul and District 1 Community Council to explore potential future uses for the 72-acre former site of Boys Totem Town.

Criminal Justice Coordinating Council
The Ramsey County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) serves as a forum where justice partners collaborate to promote improvements in the criminal justice system.

Preventing & Ending Homelessness
Ramsey County works with local, regional and national efforts to end homelessness through Heading Home Ramsey.

JDAI & Deep End Reform
Through JDAI and Deep End Reform, Ramsey County works to reduce disproportionate minority contact with the corrections system and reduce reliance on out-of-home placements.

All-Abilities Transportation Network
Ramsey County is committed to building a safe and well-integrated transportation system that connects people of all abilities and ages with places throughout the community.

Transit Development
Ramsey County supports transit development throughout the region. The Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority is actively involved in the Riverview, Rush Line, and Gold Line/Gateway corridors.

East Metro Rail Yards Improvement
The Regional Railroad Authority and stakeholder railroads are working together to identify rail capacity improvements for freight growth and additional passenger rail connections to Union Depot.

Countywide Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan
Ramsey County is committed to building a vibrant, walkable and bikeable community. It is in the process of developing the first-ever countywide pedestrian and bicycle plan.

Rice-Larpenteur Gateway Area
Saint Paul, Maplewood and Roseville - with collaboration from Ramsey County - are developing a short- and long-term vision plan for the Rice Street-Larpenteur Avenue area.

Supporting Immigrant and Refugee Families
This is a partnership and funding opportunity (through Direct Purchase Order) with Ramsey County for the rest of the 2019 year.

Solar Resources
Ramsey County is committed to promoting renewable energy development and reducing greenhouse gas emission within its own operations, as well as within the housing, business, municipal and transportation sectors across the county.

Resilient Communities Project
Ramsey County partnered with the Resilient Communities Project for the 2018-2019 academic year, utilizing University of Minnesota faculty and students to support county projects.

SummerLands Pilot Project
Ramsey County is making some land available for seasonal community use. Apply to manage a piece of land from June 2019 to October 2019.
