Household Hazardous Waste Collection sites will continue to operate during posted hours until further notice. When you load materials in your vehicle, please load them in your trunk and not in the passenger compartment. When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle and staff will ask for place of residency and will unload items from your trunk.
The Product Reuse Center at the year-round household hazardous waste collection site in Saint Paul has been closed until further notice.
Ramsey County is looking at making improvements in how household hazardous waste items are collected to better serve residents. We’re asking residents to provide us feedback by taking a brief survey.
Many household products you use to clean your kitchen and bathroom, maintain your car and home, and control animals and insects contain hazardous materials. If a container has the words caution, warning, danger or poison on the label and still has product inside, it does not belong in the trash. New policy in 2020: Gas cans and other fuel containers will not be returned at mobile collection sites. Pick them up later at our year-round collection site in Saint Paul or use that site directly when dropping off gasoline.
