Recycling & Waste

Ovens (Conventional)

Legal Considerations

It is Illegal to place conventional ovens and other major appliances in the trash. Ovens must be processed to remove hazardous materials before being recycled.

If you are purchasing a new oven, ask the retailer if they will recycle your old one when they deliver the new one.

Contact your trash hauler or Best Buy for curbside pick up options.

You can also bring the freezer to one of the recycle companies listed below. Call to verify items accepted, hours and fees.
